KEY PEOPLE

Brett Swain

Director

With my business partner Alan King, I co-founded Screenworks in 1994.  My day is usually split between sourcing mobile screening and crushing work and environmental compliance.

I am on the AQA Board and I also serve on the Gravel Liaison committee.  I hold an A Grade Quarry Manager Certificate of Competency. My role involves ensuring that a client’s request for material is achieved in a sustainable and cost effective manner.  I also work closely with other quarry partners and the industry as a whole.

Alan King

Director

The opportunity to combine my skills in engineering and Brett’s skills in crushing and screening, allowed us to form the company that it is today.

I look after a dedicated team of mechanical and engineering staff at our Aylesbury Workshop.

While I can usually be found in the workshop, when I am not here I am out on the field piloting vehicles and assisting with maintenance to mobile plant and heavy machinery.

Mark Smith

Transport Manager

My day is usually spent co-ordinating and transporting our mobile plant and heavy vehicles to the work sites throughout New Zealand. I can be found either in the office applying for road permits or on the road in my mobile office, the Scania transporter. My role is challenging and one that can take me from one island to the other at short notice, including the Chatham Islands.

Toby Dimmock

Operations Manager

I originally came on board as a Plant Operator and I now lead as Operations Manager with a B Grade CoC.  My role is varied and challenging. I enjoy taking an idea through from conception to final production of the product.  A hands on approach means that I am always in close communication with our clients and our staff.

Sarah Bonnington

Health and Safety

My role here is to provide support and drive continual improvement throughout the business and consult with external clients in regards to Health and Safety requirements. I can be found in the Aylesbury office or out in the field. I am enjoying my new role in the quarrying industry, encouraging best practice and meeting new people.

Lisa Martin

Senior Administrator

My role is here in the front office at Screenworks and includes all things administration.  I enjoy how varied my role is, assisting customers who come into the quarry and also supporting the Screenworks team.
I began working with Screenworks in December 2019, being brand new to the industry, I have enjoyed learning and have much more of an appreciation of quarrying and all that it involves.
